About the Founder:
Dell began homeschooling the
youngest son as he began kindergarten in August 1999.
A few years later, she founded Ebony Homeschoolers and
became its first support group leader. Shortly after
that she was elected to the administrative board (formerly
Board of Directors) of Memphis-area Home Education
Association (MHEA) currently serving in the position of vice
president.Dell
has worn a number of hats. A former specialist for the U.S.
Department of Education, assistant treasurer of the Memphis
Christian Women's Club, worship leader for "A Mother's
Touch" Bible study, and entrepreneur, as well as a founding
member and former vice-president of the Memphis chapter of
Mocha Moms. Dell has hung up most of those hats to pursue
the homeschooling endeavor as well as a career in public
speaking.
Dell has a passion for
encouraging and inspiring others through her uniquely "Dell"
presentations. This national conference speaker is
wonderfully entertaining, and delightfully funny, as she
shares practical insights for everyday living in Christ.
Dell has been married since
1984. Their union has produced three boys.
